Average but some inexperienced staff
In general: Too many small problems, not type usually associated with a 'luxury' hotel. I have handicap issues and despite 'accessible' room - I had to lift the coffee maker off the box containing the coffee etc. That was a poor arrangement. Also not enough light by the single chair in the room. No place to sit for a meal in the room and no surface to have room service in the room with my daughter. I am not technical so didn't use iPad in the room. No information in the room on amenities, restaurant hours, room service or on Allentown etc. Staff was all pleasant even if a few were inexperienced. Not what I consider a luxury hotel but clean. Will look for a different hotel next time. Dining: Pleasant servers but evening servers very slow even when only 1 other table. Suggest you ask for a copy of your receipt (they don't provide one usually) because our bill have several errors. I liked their soup.

I liked the hotel, it was nicely decorated and well-maintained with free wi-fi. My room was a nice size and well-kept, and the staff was helpful. The location was comfortable, for example, a modern visual arts museum was just a short stroll away from the property.

Too many small annoying things
In general: You expect a few problems when you travel but too many small issues. I will say the valet staff was great, Louis, Liz & others. Morning server in restaurant, Nicki, was great. Other servers really slow, even when only 1 other table. Staff was all pleasant even though at check in the person seemed inexperienced. Towels are thin & scratchy. On check out they caught the 1st error where they double charged me for parking. However they missed the $800 error charging for rooms that were on rooms that were prepaid. Front desk person told me to check my Amex card for the credit. I explained no, what you do is email me a copy of the credit. Another small lack of experience issue. There is no place in the room for 2 people to eat a room service meal. Nothing in the room about room service. iPad in room did not work properly, could not access Services. Called front desk & they corrected problem but only lasted for that day. So while rooms were ok don't expect experienced service every time but staff is friendly.

The room was clean and the beds were really comfortable. It's in a great area for checking out restaurants, and it's super close to the ppl center. Plus, the fridge was a nice touch, even if it was a bit noisy. The front desk staff were pretty good too help me with my car issue.
the parking situation was confusing, a bit frustrating.

Spent a night here and really enjoyed the cozy room with a beautiful city view. The heated pool was a nice perk after a long drive. I also loved how relaxing the spa area was—it felt like a mini getaway! Just a heads up, parking could use a bit more signage to help first-time visitors navigate better. 😊

Nice views from many rooms with easy access to downtown attractions. The unique ambiance of being a repurposed bank building gives the place character, and the nearby dining options add to the enjoyment of the stay.
The parking situation is a bit of a maze, with limited lighting and confusing signage making it tricky to navigate. If there's a big event, you might find yourself dragging luggage through a series of hallways and wondering if you took a wrong turn because the lack of directions makes it feel like you're on a scavenger hunt rather than heading to your room. And just a few spaces designated for valet can turn hectic with high traffic, leaving you puzzled about where to park.

A Hidden Gem Near PPL Center!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cozy room featured a king-size bed. The lounge offered good breakfast options that was great, perfect for fueling up before a busy day. Pro tip, make restaurant reservations well in advance, especially on event days!

The decor is stylish and the restaurant/bar offers great drinks. The room was quite noisy due to street traffic, and the valet service could be confusing. Not the luxurious experience I hoped for given the price.
